Acurate Alpine?

I feel that Horst's riding style almost merits yet another name for type of riding... it is epic and intense... where slow speed accurate and controlled riding meets big mountain... pretty crazy, please suggest what you would call it? Is this just true all mountain?

What ever you want to call it I find it inspiring and epic.

Check out some more amazing pics fro this trip and many others on their website... Silly Lines

Big thanks to Horst and Johannes for the unique riding, and to Andi for the excellent camera work.

Set your Sag!

The most important thing to get right when setting up your shock is to get the sag right... get that right and your 80% done, then you just have to dial in the damping settings.

So, here are some graphs showing the Suspension Sag vs. Shock Compression for each of our full sus rigs.

A lot of people think 30% sock compression = 30% sag, but that is not normally the case, it all changes due to leverage ratio curves. Hopefully these graphs I made up will help you tune your bike in more accurately.

True all mountain??

Horst sent me this self filmed video from his ride on his wildcard in the Austrian alps... is this all mountain at its purest? You tell me?

Wildcard Aaron LaRocque

I met Aaron at Interbike 2009, he was a little bit too busy to talk to me so I came to the conclusion that he was a pretentious a**. Sure he was under a lot of stress because his video What’s Next was playing live over Pinkbike, but that is no reason to ignore his biggest fan.

2 Guys 1 Bike

No one has ridden our jump line in almost a year. When we got back to Taiwan after four months of being in Canada there was so much grass that nothing could be ridden. Every spring someone lights a fire that burns up all the grass. This year it burnt up all the grass and most of our tools. But on the bright side we do not have to fight with the grass anymore.

James has been rebuilding … We took my Wildcard out today and took turns on the bike and camera.

Matt Brooks and Friends Riding in February

Hey all! I got a chance to take out a friend on the Banshees and hit the bike park over the last couple days. It's been unseasonably warm for quite awhile here in Kamloops so I thought it might be a good chance to shoot a couple pics and spread some 22 pride. My friend Lance and I took out the Wildcard and the Rampant on the first day and got a little dirt jumping in. The trails are in awesome shape right now, and there is some building happening, so obviously we weren't the only ones peeking out noses out side to see what's up. When we got there, there was about 10 others already dirt jumping, and another few building. It looks like a new DH track is nearing completion and it's got some real nice features. I hope it will draw lots of people for the race the ranch event this year. On day 2 we decided to pull out the big bikes and shred some DH trails, so I got on the Scythe and Lance stuck with the Wildcard. All the trails were in great shape with no mud at all. We put in a bunch of laps and called it a day after a couple beers. All in all a great riding day for the beginning of February. We snapped a bunch of pics so I thought I'd share them with everyone on here. Hope every ones winter is going as well as ours.

I'll just do all the weights in one post

All frames are with hanger except the Amp... which includes the seatcollar at 55grams

All are mediums... the raw ones do include the clearcoat and are as sold.

No shocks or shock hardware are in the frames as you should be able to find out the weight from the shock manufacturer of your choice then add together with our frame weights to come up with the total. I figured I do this as its the most fair and it will be easier to compare our frames to others out there.

Of course when the Legend is done I'll weigh that and I will get weights of the Paradoxs [although in previous posts i've thrown it up already]
