Hey Keith, I am currently riding a Pyre MK1 (with 5.5" rear travel) running a 130mm fork. How does the Spitfire compare to the Pyre MK1 (other than the variable geometry aspect)? I am happy with my bike as a real "do it all bike" from XC race to light DH, but the main pivot bearing design is a pain (unsealed needle bearings), and it is starting to look a bit tired. Is the spitfire going to seem like a new replacement, or a different bike?
I would say that the rune is really the pyre replacement. The spitfire is much lower and slacker and much more aimed for trail riding and lot light freeride.
